In the talk, Thomas Saw, our founder, a practitioner trader and investor with over 2 decades of trading and investing experience shared his trading skills with the participants by introducing the different investment vehicles and the level of risk & skills involve in trading those instruments.

Being the Ex-President of Options Traders Club of Singapore (2005 – 2007), Thomas shared his expertise in options trading and how it can be used to supplement your income stream by creating a passive trading system with minimal risk and relatively consistent returns. Participants benefitted greatly as they pick up knowledge on how to trade in all markets be it bull, bear or sideways as long as they structure their trades adequately.

In addition, he highlighted some differences between basic concepts of trading and investing, long and short. Last but not least, Thomas concluded the session by going through an option strategy to let our participants gain a better understanding of this instrument. This was done through our TRT’s Options worksheet based on Facebook (NYSE:FB), which recently launched its IPO two weeks ago.
