Description
Non-Directional Trading is about making money in all normal market directions – an up-trend, a down-trend or even a sideways trend! NDT uses options, the only instrument that allows you to profit from all 3 market directions, and trades Options on Futures.
You probably want to be keeping your eye on this: Dave’s track record over the last 3 years (2010-2012) has been more than 300%!
Target Audience
- Complete beginners to options trading seeking an easier way of making money in the financial markets
- Existing options traders seeking either an easier way of trading options or enhancing their trading profits
Latter can choose to skip Theory Day 1, in which case their course fees are reduced.
Prerequisites
Live trading account funded to at least $20,000 (by start of evening sessions).
Not for the faint-hearted – note that you will be learning to trade a derivative on a derivative!
Duration
2 x 6-hour Theory Days + 5 x 4-hour Evening Sessions, for a total of 32 contact hours. Programme is spread over 3 months.

About Dave Foo
Options Trader
Dave Foo has been trading futures – SiMSCI, TAIFEX, Nikkei, and the various eMinis (S&P, Russell, NASDAQ and Dow Jones) – for more than a decade, 7 of those years as a full-time trader. He has also been trading options – using both naked and covered strategies – for more than 5 years, achieving a return of more than 300% in the last 3 years alone!
Dave’s forte is in trading options on futures products such as the S&P; Index ETFs such as the QQQQ; and commodities such as crude oil, corn, soybean, wheat, gold, silver, copper, coffee, sugar and cotton.
Dave has been a frequent speaker at the Options Traders’ Club of Singapore (now Online Traders’ Club of Singapore, OTCS). He is the author of Handbook on Options Trading.
